For as long as I can remember I’ve had a passion for animals and art. Even as a little girl I was drawing up a storm and making friends with all the neighborhood cats.
As an adult I’ve spent over a decade of my life working in an animal rescue and it has only deepened my love and understanding of animals. The animals that I’ve had in my life have been so special to me. From my first dog Raffi… fast forward 20 years… to the dog and two cats I have now… I don’t know what I would have done without them.
Art has always been with me and a part of me. I’ve mostly created art as a hobby and have done pieces as gifts for friends and family. Not until recently had I thought of art as a way to earn a living. But what better way to support myself than to combine my two favorite things, animals and art? Creating pet portraits is a way to celebrate the bond between humans and pets, and that’s what I love about it.
